Kathmnadu, May 15: Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Bureau of South Asia and Central Asia Affairs David J. Ranz representing the US Department held a meeting at the ministry today.
Nepal-USA ties, mutual cooperation and collaboration between the two countries figured prominently in the meeting.
Minister Thapa extended gratitude for the US support in the fields of Nepal’s development, disaster management and the training to security agencies and construction of physical infrastructures.
Meantime, the visiting Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary Ranz, spoke of the need for bolstering the USA-Nepal tie saying the American support to Nepal will continue in days a head as well. (RSS)
