US President Biden authenticates $430 billion climate action bill

August 17, Kathmandu: US President Joe Biden has authenticated a bill on climate change mitigation worth $430 billion. 

According to Reuters, the amount allocated under the bill is the largest in the history of the US for climate action. 

Reuters has mentioned that the amount of the bill will be used to cut the US’s greenhouse gas and carbon missions as well as to control inflation and the price of medicines.

Democratic Party has taken the initiative to pass the bill related to inflation control and climate action in view of the upcoming November midterm elections of the US Congress.
