Health Ministry urges people to follow health safety protocols citing increasing covid infection

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has urged the people to strictly follow the health safety protocols citing the increasing rate of corona infection.

Addressing the regular press briefing today, Ministry’s Joint Spokesperson Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari requested people to mandatorily put on masks while coming out of their homes. 

He also asked people to complete their anti-Covid vaccine doses saying the number of infections and fatalities increased as some people still had not got proper vaccine doses.

Meanwhile, the health Ministry recorded 8 hundred and 68 cases of Covid-19 infection today.

The ministry confirmed the cases while testing 6 thousand 7 hundred and 5 samples.

Similarly, 3 people succumbed to the Covid-19 infection today while 4 hundred and 14 people recovered from the infection.
