Government’s budget being presented to federal parliament today

May 29, Kathmandu : The government is presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year today.

Minister for Finance Dr Yubraj Khatiwada will present the budget in the joint session of the federal parliament .The budget is estimated to be around Rs 150 billion.

As per the constitutional provision, the budget will come into implementation from the first day of Saun month as per Nepali calendar.

Radio Nepal will have live broadcast of the budget speech.
