Worker missing in Mahakali flood

Mahendranagar (Kanchanpur): A worker has gone missing in Kanchanpur this afternoon after being swept away by Mahakali River.

The worker working in the construction company of the four-lane bridge which is under construction over Mahakali River went missing when they went to fish in the river.

According to the District Police Office Kanchanpur spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Joshi, Dhan Bahadur Gurung of Barahatal Rural Municipality-4 Sajghat of Surkhet went missing after being swept away by the River.

The police have mobilized a diving team to search for the missing Gurung.
