Chair Dahal urges Maoist forces for unity

Kathmandu, Sept 21: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has called on Maoist forces to join the process of unity.

Addressing the 15th annual general assembly of the Martyrs Foundation Nepal at party office, Parisdanda today, Chair Dahal shared, “There is no alternative to all Maoist forces but to move ahead together because all the Maoist forces have same sentiments.” The Chairperson called them not to delay for unification.

He recalled that the government led by him had given recognition to the martyrs of people’s movement as the national martyrs.

Stating that a far-reaching decision was made in favour of martyrs, the missing ones and injured persons, the Chairperson pointed out the need that all should pressurize to implement the past decisions.

“Our force will be stronger if we all are united. So let’s be united”, he underlined.

Clarifying that the bill related to transitional justice was authenticated from the President after it was passed by the federal parliaments, he added that a process for the formation of the commission was also forwarded.

Dahal urged party leaders and cadres not to be embarrassed and weak thinking that party’s strength in parliament is weak.
