Eight wards of Chandragiri municipality declared child labour free

Kathmandu, Sept 21: Chandragiri municipality has been declaring its wards child labour-free by setting a campaign and realizing the goal within the current fiscal year.

In this connection, ward no 10 of the municipality was declared child labour free ward today. Declaring ward no 10 as the child labor free ward at a programme organized here today, Mayor Ghan Shyam Gri said the municipality had given high priority to end exploitation of children and activities should be carried out for the sustainability after the declaration.

Ward no 3, ward no 5, ward no 6, ward no 7, ward no 8, ward no 11 and ward no 14 of Chandragiri municipality have already been declared free of child labour.
