Nepali pilot student receives award in Philippines

Kathmandu: A Nepali student who studied to become a pilot in the Philippines has received an excellence award.

Akankshya Nakarmi, who studied to become a pilot, was honoured by the Asian Institute of Aviation (Planters Aviation Corporation) in the Philippines.

Captain Akankshya Nakarmi was honoured with the ‘JESPPESEN Award-Best in Academics’.

22 Nepali students including students from different countries were felicitated in the convocation ceremony.

There were many other Nepalese pilots who received various awards in the program.

Many foreign students go to take pilot training at the government-owned pilot training institute in the Philippines.
