In his replies to concerns raised by lawmakers during the HoR session today, Minister Dahal commented on human resources. He said he took concerns from lawmakers regarding the issues of physical infrastructure and transport positively.

Similarly, Minister Dahal said the Ministry is facing some difficulties in undertaking the related development endeavours due to the rains.

He added that except in the case of Nagdhunga, other national highways were restored within two hours of the obstruction. Lawmakers mainly raised concerns over the collapse of an under-construction bridge over the Kamala River on the southern border of Dhanusha and Siraha along the Postal Highway.

In response, he said the bridge repair had been delayed due to disputes between the contractor and construction company. He said he aims to implement all the constructions relating to physical infrastructure development by the next two months.

‘The rains have caused some delays and hindrances to development projects. All the development contracts will be implemented by mid-October, ‘ said Minister Dahal.
