Pakistan defeats South Africa to keep semi-finals hope alive

November 3, Kathmandu: Pakistan defeated South Africa in Friday’s match of the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup that is ongoing in Australia.

In the match played in Sydney, Pakistan made 185 for the loss of nine wickets in the allocated 20 overs after winning the toss and batting first.

South Africa had a revised target of 142 runs in 14 overs after the Duck Worth Lewis method was applied following a rain stoppage.

South Africa could make only 108 runs for the loss of 9 wickets losing the match by 33 runs.
