October 19, Kathmandu: The Chinese Embassy in Nepal has launched the Chinese Embassy Youth Pioneer Program (CNYP) to empower young Nepali professionals aged 18-32 through leadership training, community engagement, and cultural exchange. The program aims to foster leaders committed to Nepal’s economic and social development.

According to the Chinese Embassy, participants will engage in workshops, receive leadership training, and have opportunities for exchange visits to China to learn about development practices.

Networking events will also be organized, connecting participants with diplomats, scholars, and professionals. The program offers a one-year membership, with alumni continuing to receive support through a dedicated network.

Applications are open to young professionals from various sectors. Interested candidates will have to submit a resume and application statement in English or Chinese by November 14, 2024, to cnypnepal@163.com. Up to 20 participants will be selected based on alignment with the program’s goals.
