Jeep accident in Kawasoti, two dead, 28 injured

Nawalparasi: Two people died and 28 people have been injured in a jeep accident at Kawasoti in Navalpur, Nawalparasi, Bardghat (East of Susta) today.

According to JC Shah, Information Officer of the District Police Office, the accident occurred when a jeep coming from Bulingtar towards Kawasoti met with an accident on the inner road section of Kawasoti-1 Baluwadanda.

There was an accident on Ankantar hill and the rescue operation has just been completed. The injured have been taken to Nawalpur Hospital and Madhyabindu District Hospital.

The police believe that the accident occurred by carrying more passengers than the capacity. The details of the people dead and injured have not been received yet.
