Monsoon entirely retreats from Nepal

Kathmandu: This year’s monsoon made its complete exit from the country on Saturday.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon started retreating from some parts of the country on October 6, with its entire withdrawal occurring on October 12. The monsoon made its exit to the Bagmati, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces on Saturday.

This year’s monsoon arrival was delayed by four days from the expected date and took an additional six days for its withdrawal from across the country.
