US and Nepal to conduct 40th Joint Military Training

September 7, Kathmandu: The United States Army and the Nepal Army (NA) are set to commence their 40th “Joint Combined Exchange Training” on September 10, according to the NA Directorate of Military Public Relations and Information.

This joint exercise, taking place in the Kathmandu Valley, will run until September 29. The training will involve a total of 42 personnel, comprising 12 members from the US Army and 30 from the Nepali Army.

The focus of the training will be on sharing experiences and information related to disaster management, search and rescue, and humanitarian aid. This is part of the Nepal Army’s ongoing commitment to participate in joint training and exercises with various countries.
