PM Dahal urges to unlock development potential in New Year message

April 14, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Nepal has extended his best wishes and expressed his hopes for the future on the occasion of New Year 2080 BS. In his message, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for hope and courage to unlock the country’s development potential.

“Let us resolve to bring about quality changes in the economic and social lives of Nepalis through our collective efforts. This New Year will not just be a mere change in the calendar, but a concerted effort towards creative change,” the Prime Minister said.

He highlighted the importance of cooperation and collaboration in tackling the numerous challenges facing Nepal and stated that this was the foundation for building a prosperous nation. The Prime Minister further stated that efforts were underway to restore the economy and fully ensure the rights of citizens.

The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to the implementation of the constitution, the strengthening of the republic, and the pursuit of political stability and prosperity. On this special occasion, he also wished peace, prosperity, and good health to all Nepalis at home and abroad.
