Immediate relief and long-term support for flood victims is high priority: Prime Minister

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government is actively working on immediate relief and long-term support for those affected by the recent floods and landslides.

In a message to the nation during the Badadashain festival, PM Oli acknowledged that this year’s heavy rains have overshadowed the celebration and made it difficult for many.

PM Oli informed that over 200 people have lost their lives, many others have been injured, and numerous homes have been destroyed.

The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing assistance and rehabilitation for affected families, concluding with wishes for a hopeful Ghatasthapana.
