National Day Concert held at Durbarmarg in Kathmandu to commemorate Constitution Day

Kathmandu: A ‘National Day Concert’ has been held at Durbarmarg in Kathmandu to commemorate Constitution Day. The event has drawn a large crowd, with attendees waving national flags as national artists showcased their musical performances.

The event started with an orchestra performance by musical bands from the Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli attended the concert to inspire participants. In his address, he extended heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day, emphasizing that the government is committed to fulfilling public expectations through the implementation of the Constitution. He urged everyone to collaborate for the nation’s prosperity.

Other high-ranking officials, including Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, were also present at the event.

Nepal has been celebrating Constitution Day and National Day to mark the promulgation of the current constitution by the Constituent Assembly on the 20th of September, 2015 which corresponds to the 3rd of Asoj, 2072 BS in the Nepali calendar.
