Parliamentarians demand immediate increase in teachers amid SEE failures in HoR

Kathmandu: The lack of teachers in public schools has led to many students failing this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Parliamentarians in the House of Representatives have demanded the government to immediately increase the number of teachers.

In today’s meeting, Parliamentarians highlighted the high failure rates in math, science, and English. They stressed the urgent need for more teachers in these subjects.

Parliamentarians also urged the government to create jobs for youths within the country, noting the deaths of many young people working abroad.

Additionally, Parliamentarians called for a special plan to boost religious tourism, easier access to national ID cards for senior citizens and people with disabilities, and better availability of chemical fertilizers for farmers.

In an emergency meeting, Parliamentarians requested immediate relief and rehabilitation for flood victims, citing significant property damage from ongoing rains. They also emphasized the need to repair damaged highways and improve the education system.
