On Air Station:

Ministry of Health to vaccinate children on coming May 13th

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population will administer vaccinations to children who missed their regular immunizations on May 13th.

Ministry spokesperson, Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, announced a ‘massive search and vaccination campaign’ for children under five who missed their vaccination.

The government offers these vaccines free of charge to protect children from illness, disability, and mortality.

With a recent measles and rubella outbreak, the ministry prioritizes vaccinating missed children.

Parents are urged to visit nearby health offices for vaccinations and to assist children in accessing vaccination centres.

The ministry emphasizes that full vaccination is crucial for public safety.
