CPN-US general convention from June 30

Kathmandu: The 10th national general convention of CPN (Unified Socialist) is going to be held in Kathmandu from June 30 to July 4.

The convention scheduled to be held on May 16 has been postponed due to insufficient internal preparations for it, said party Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada.

Meanwhile, the party has decided to nominate Dirgha Sodari as the candidate for the post of Chief Minister of Sudur Paschim Province. At the secretariat meeting held on Wednesday at the central office, Aloknagar decided to field Sodari as a candidate for the post of chief minister.
