Two injured in tiger attack in Chitwan
April 12, Kathmandu: Two people were injured in a tiger attack in Madi municipality of Chitwan.
56-year-old Surya Mahatto and 50-year-old Tej Bahadur Paudel of Seruwa, Ward No. 1, were attacked by a tiger.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, they were grazing buffaloes in the grasslands near the Riu River bridge when a Bengal tiger attacked them.
Police said that the condition of the injured is stable and they are being treated at Bharatpur Hospital. The tiger has also killed a buffalo.
