On Air Station:

Wild fire cases reported in 436 locations

Kathmandu: The number of wild fire is increasing day by day. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the wild fire is occurring at around 4 hundred 36 locations in 53 districts.

The wild fire incidents were reported in 1 hundred 65 locations of 39 districts yesterday. The Authority’s Wild Fire Expert Sundar Sharma says the wildfires are spreading due to lack of rainfall for a long time
and strong wind.

He said the topographical challenges and lack of resources were causing additional hurdles to control
the wild fire. Expert Sharma said districts including Kailali, Doti, Salyan, Dailekh, and Palpa have been highly affected by the wild fire.
