October 10, Kathmandu: As a symbol of solidarity and remembrance of the lives lost in the recent series of attacks by the Palestinian terrorist group – Hamas – on Israel, Shalom Club Nepal on Tuesday organized a poignant butter lamp vigil at Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu.

The Shalom Club Nepal also strongly condemned the attacks, expressing deep distress over the devastating loss of life.

Urgently calling for an immediate end to hostilities, the club emphasized the need for a peaceful resolution, stating that violence perpetuates suffering.

Ten Nepali students were killed in the attacks carried out by Hamas in different areas of southern Israel.

In solidarity with the families of the deceased and the affected people, the club pledged support, urging collective efforts to heal wounds and work towards a future of lasting peace.
