RSP President Rabi Lamichhane appears in court amid allegations of embezzlement

Kaski: The President of Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, has appeared in Kaski District Court, Pokhara today following his arrest on charges of misappropriation of cooperative funds.

After being detained on Friday, he was brought to court by police to keep him in custody to obtain permission for further investigation by the District Police Office, Kaski.

Following his arrest, parliamentarians of RSP, leaders, and supporters protested the proceedings.

Before entering the courtroom, Lamichhane expressed his willingness to cooperate with the legal process.

The Kaski District Police are investigating Lamichhane for allegedly embezzling funds with Gitendra Babu (GB) Rai.

Lamichhane was arrested in Kathmandu and brought to Pokhara on Saturday morning.
