Nepal Telecom’s role is crucial in advancing Digital Nepal Framework: Minister Gurung

Kathmandu: Minister for Communication, Information, and Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has emphasized Nepal Telecom’s key role in advancing the ‘Digital Nepal Framework.’

During an inspection of Nepal Telecom’s network operations at the Jawalakhel office, Minister Gurung, also the government spokesperson, highlighted Nepal’s significant potential for information technology within South Asia.

Minister Gurung stressed the need for Nepal Telecom to enhance service effectiveness, along with professionalism and quality.

He also announced that ‘e-Governance’ will be implemented in all central ministries and offices this year, expressing confidence that this service will reduce various expenses for citizens.
