Faulty education policy weakens nation: Chair Bijukchhe


Bhaktapur: The Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Narayan Man Bijukchhe, has said that the faulty educational policy has badly affected all sectors in the country.

Speaking in an orientation programme organized by the Khwopa Secondary School here today, leader Bijukchhe argued that privatization in education was a major problem in the country. He further said that the brain drain was a huge challenge.

“The trend of youth exodus is on the rise and it does not end unless various of opportunities are created within the country,” he reminded.

On the occasion, the Chairman of the School Management Committee who is also the Bhaktapur Municipality mayor, Sunil Prajapati, shared that 1,680 students from 56 districts across the country were studying at Khwopa Secondary School and Sharada Campus combined.

In the event, Prof Dr Siddhibir Karmacharya established the Martyr Memorial Scholarship Revolving Fund and handed over the scholarship amount of Rs.444,444 to the college.
