Federal civil service bill to be enacted soon-Minister Gupta

Kathmandu: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Rajkumar Gupta said the bill regarding the operation and management of federal civil services would be enacted soon.

Disclosing the Ministry’s 25-point achievements at a press conference organized on the occasion of completing 100 days, Minister Gupta said formal and informal discussions have been held with the parliamentary committee and political parties to get the bill endorsed from the upcoming session.

According to him, clause-wise discussions have been initiated in the State Affairs Committee after its presentation and preliminary discussion in the federal parliament.

Minister Gupta shared that a proposal has been submitted to the Council of Ministers to acquire land for 13 local governments and provide land to seven local levels on use and lease to help and facilitate the development management of the local governments.
