PM lays foundation stone of UML central office building at Kirtipur

 

Kathmandu, 11th October: Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN UML KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone of the UML Central Office Building in Maitrinagar of Kirtipur Municipality today.

General Secretary of CPN UML Shankar Pokharel shared the information that a state-of-the-art building will be built on 10 ropani 14 annas of land donated by businessman and Director of Bhat-Bhateni Group Meen Bahadur Gurung and his spouse Savitri Gurung.

General Secretary Pokharel further said that the cost and detailed aspects of the building are in the process of being formulated.

After the flood damaged the Tulsilal Smriti Pratishtan in Chayasal of Lalitpur, where CPN UML currently has its central office, a new office building is going to be constructed in Maitrinagar.

In response to the journalist’s question, the director of Bhat-Bhateni Gurung said that he has been supporting other parties as well, and for now it is an opportunity to help the CPN UML.

Gurung further said that a building will be constructed at the location within a year and will be handed over on the day of Ghatasthapana next year.
