Helicopter makes emergency landing in Dhading

Malekhu (Dhading): A helicopter, carrying a patient en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara, made an emergency landing in the Dhading district today due to bad weather.

The helicopter carrying a patient from Manipal Hospital made a safe landing at Aathkilo of Thakre rural municipality-7 in Dhading district after heavy rainfall.

The helicopter operated by Kailash Services with call sign 9 N-A.M.L made an emergency landing on a bare land.

An asthma patient was on board the helicopter, according to Yubaraj Khatiwada, ward chairperson of Thakre rural municipality-7 in the district.

District Police Office, Dhading’s DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra said that they reported the pilot landing the helicopter in a safe place after gauging the risk of flying further due to adverse weather
