Youth’s role crucial in social service’

Morang, July 27: Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Kumar Karki has said that the role of youth is vital in social service.

At an induction programme of Lions Club Biratnagar Centre here today, the Chief Minister said that ill practices and conservative mindsets should be brought to an end. Karki wished great success to the Club in the coming days in social service by upholding Nepal’s national interest and citizens.

Expressing his concerns about the rising cases of drug abuse among the youth, the Chief Minister called for a proactive role of the Club in mitigating such wrong practices in society.
