27 newly recruited employees join Radio Nepal

Kathmandu: Twenty-seven newly recruited employees of Radio Nepal have received appointment letters today. At a ceremony held today at the Central Office of Radio Nepal in Singha Durbar, the organization distributed the letters to all the new hires, who were recommended by the Public Service Commission.

Out of the 27 new employees, 11 joined the engineering services, 7 joined the communications and program services, and 9 joined the administrative services.

Executive Director of Radio Nepal Buddhi Bahadur KC expressed confidence that the recruits would enhance the accessibility of Radio Nepal and improve its broadcasting effectiveness. He highlighted that Radio Nepal’s broadcasting efforts focus on promoting issues related to endangered classes and communities.

Board of Directors member Tilak Jung Budhathoki also expressed his belief that the new employees would play a significant role in the organizational improvement of Radio Nepal. He encouraged everyone to deeply understand Radio Nepal, comparing the institution to a university.

Likewise, Deputy Executive Director Khagendra Khatri welcomed the new employees to the historical organization, stating that their arrival would contribute to its progress. He emphasized that a positive mindset would benefit both personal and organizational development.

Deputy Executive Director Krishna Chandra Paudel added that the dedication and diligence of Radio Nepal’s staff have increased its popularity from rural areas to international platforms, and he expects the new employees to further contribute to this growth.

Meanwhile, Radio Nepal bid farewell to two retiring employees, Chief News Editor Hari Sharan Lamichhane and Administrative Officer Dawa Tamang.

Executive Director KC honoured them with certificates for their service and encouraged the younger generation to learn from their experience. He noted that the insights of retired employees are valuable for the institution’s development.
