Radio Nepal appoints 27 new staff on Public Service Commission recommendation


The Radio Broadcasting Service Development Committee (Radio Nepal) has given appointment letters to 27 new employees recommended by the Public Service Commission.


In the appointment letter distribution ceremony held today at Radio Nepal’s central office Singhadurbar, Radio Nepal gave appointment letters to 11 people from the engineering service group, 7 from the communication and program service group and 9 from the administration service group.


In the ceremony, Executive Director Buddhi Bahadur KC expressed hope that the new employees will increase the reach of Radio Nepal and make the broadcasting more effective.
Executive Director KC said that improving the broadcasting of Radio Nepal, which is oriented towards public broadcasting, will provide significant support in producing targeted content.

Tilakjung Budhathoki, a member of Radio Nepal’s board of directors, expressed confidence that the newly appointed staff will contribute significantly to the institutional reform of Radio Nepal.
Budhathoki, a member of the board of directors, said that Radio Nepal, which has historical significance, is no different from any university, also urged the new employees to study its internal aspects.


Deputy Executive Director Khagendra Khatri welcomed the new employees for being appointed to the historical organisation Radio Nepal and expressed his belief that they will provide significant support in the growth of the organization.


Deputy Executive Director Krishnachandra Paudel said that Radio Nepal and the hard work of its people have been recognized from the village to the city and abroad, and added that the new employee will continue on the same path to achieve its goals.
