UAE Ambassador Al Shamsi calls on Foreign Minister Dr Deuba

July 25, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.

The meeting held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing matters of mutual concern.

During the discussion, Minister Dr Deuba and Ambassador Al Shamsi explored various avenues to strengthen the cooperation between the UAE and Nepal. They reviewed ongoing initiatives and discussed potential areas of collaboration in sectors such as trade, investment, tourism, and education.

The Ambassador congratulated Minister Dr Deuba on her appointment and wished her a successful tenure at the office.

Emphasizing the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two nations, Ambassador Al Shamsi expressed the UAE’s commitment to further deepening ties with Nepal.

UAE is a major destination for Nepali migrant workers.
