Education committee of HoR meets today

Kathmandu: In the meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives, there was a discussion with the modifier on the School Education Bill 2080.


In the discussion held in the committee at Singhdarbar, the reformist parliamentarians said that education should be linked with entrepreneurship and that teachers should be given facilities similar to civil service.


Discussing the education, MPs said that teachers should not be discouraged mentally without distinguishing between temporary and permanent names.
The parliamentarians said that residential schools should be built in every district, any kind of classification in education should be removed, the posts of computer and sports teachers should be increased, education policies should be reformed, and the extreme national disappointment in education should be transformed into hope.


Likewise, the parliamentarians said that the transfer system of teachers should be organized at the local level and that schools should be named after the heritage of their own country.
