Answers from Ministers continue at National Assembly Meeting

The answer from the ministers on Appropriation Bill 2081, continues in the National Assembly Meeting today.

Responding to the issues raised in the discussion, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Bhanubhakta Joshi said that since the civil law could not be enacted on time the biggest problem was staff management.
He said that it is clear that the country will not develop without the transformation of the employees, as there are challenges in the transformation of the employees whereas, due to the non-enactment of the Civil Service Act, there is a problem in the administration due to the employees at all three levels.
He also added that there is a problem due to the lack of rules and certain standards regarding the transfer and promotion of employees.
Minister for Forest and Environment Nawalkishore Shah Sudi said that the forest management task has been started with the approval of national standards for the sustainable management of Rahekar forests, based on the system of forest cultivation.
Minister Shah said that because the Forest Act is not up to date there should not be too much delay in bringing a new act as it is becoming difficult to work.

Youth and Sports Minister Virajbhakta Shrestha said that the Youth Counseling and Guidance Program has been introduced to protect the youth from alcohol, tobacco and other such addictions and also bring them on the right path.
Minister Shrestha said that the sports coaches have been assigned to provide sports-related training at the local level and funds have been allocated by conducting special sports training programs for comprehensive sports preparation and international-level sports development.
