Photo exhibition to mark centenary birth anniversary of former NC President Koirala

Patan (Lalitpur): A photo exhibition titled ‘From Revolution to Peace’ is going to be organised on the occasion of the centennial birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and former President of Nepali Congress late Girija Prasad Koirala.

Speaking at a press conference held here today, Chief of NC Central Information, Communications and Publicity Department, Min Bishwakarma said that there will be an exhibition of photographs and documentaries related to Koirala while debate and discussions will also be held at the party’s central office tomorrow.

‘More than 151 photos captured by journalists at different times will be displayed in the exhibition. The photographs will reflect the three stages of a revolution, peace and development and the post-conflict peace process,’ he said.

Likewise, a discussion on the title of the exhibition will be held with the participation of former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, NC leader and MP Krishna Prasad Sitaula, leader of CPN (UML) Pradeep Gyawali. The session will be facilitated by Dr Geja Sharma Wagle.
