Over 1,000 students of AFU graduated

Chitwan: One thousand and fifty-nine students of the Agriculture and Forestry University have graduated.

Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, awarded them with graduation certificates. Vice-chancellor of the Sikkim Skill University, Prof. Dr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, was the chief guest of the programme.

On the occasion, 798 students were graduated from Bachelors Level. According to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Punya Raj Regmi, 568 students of agriculture faculty, 47 of medical, 26 of fisheries science and 157 from forestry graduated from Bachelors Level.

Similarly, 123 in agriculture, 36 in veterinary, 20 in science, 12 in fisheries science and 60 in forestry graduated from Master’ Level while nine people got their PhDs. This is the fourth convocation of the University. It was established on Asar 3, 2067 BS.
