Lightning kills young man in Ilam

Illam: A young man has died due to lightning in Ilam.

Among the deceased, 35-year-old Sunil Tamang of Ilam Municipality Ward No. 9 died due to lightning at 7:30 this morning.

Tamang, who was injured by lightning while sitting in the kitchen, was brought to District Hospital Ilam for treatment.

The doctor declared him dead after check up. According to the police, Tamang’s body has been kept at the district hospital for post-mortem.
