Acting President Yadav’s Eid greetings

June 17, Kathmandu: Acting President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has wished happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha.

In a message of best wishes on Monday, the Acting President termed this festival as a symbol of happiness, brotherhood, goodwill, harmony and collectiveness adding that this festival gives the message of unity to all.

This festival has encouraged all to extend support to the poor and needy ones. This festival is marked as a symbol of sacrifices and dedication, according to Yadav.

Likewise, the Acting President has said this festival was equally important in religious, social and cultural aspects adding that this festival teaches us to share our happiness and to support the needy people.

Meanwhile, Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Devraj Ghimire has expressed confidence that the festival would help maintain mutual goodwill, social unity and brotherhood among all Nepalis celebrating different religions and cultures.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Eid festival, Ghimire viewed that this festival would make a great contribution to safeguarding our unique cultures and traditions by promoting goodwill, tolerance, reconciliation and brotherhood in a socially, culturally, linguistically and ethnically diverse country like Nepal.
