CPN-US convention documents sent to all districts

Kathmandu, May 26:

The documents prepared by the CPN (US) for the 10th National Convention are being sent to the districts starting May 28.

The political, socialist programs, party statutes and organisation-related documents prepared for the convention are going to be sent to the district committees for discussion and feedback, said Politburo member Dilu Pant.

The party chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has prepared a political document by reviewing matters related to nationalism, caste, linguistic and social discrimination as well as the contemporary national and international situation. Senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has prepared a socialist document on fundamental contradictions of the Nepali society for the socialist revolution and transformation of the country.

Party vice-chair Beduram Bhusal has developed the legislative document while the organizational document has been prepared by General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal. Central member Mohan Gautam shared that the four reports will be integrated into one document based on the conclusions reached after discussion in the committees at all levels.

The National Convention of the party is being held in Kathmandu from June 30 to July 4.
