Nepal-EU have enjoyed 50 years of excellent relations: DPM Shrestha

May 9, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Nepal, Veronique Lorenzo, paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha on Wednesday.

In the meeting held at DPM Shrestha’s office in Singha Durbar, matters relating to mutual benefits and bilateral cooperation were discussed, according to the DPM’s secretariat.

DPM Shrestha expressed satisfaction regarding the excellent relations between Nepal and the EU and wished for further cooperation in the days to come.

In reply, the EU Ambassador committed to continued support in the days ahead.

Nepal and the EU are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations this year.
