Minister Shrestha directs TU to adhere to exam and result schedules

May 7, Kathmandu: Education Minister Sumana Shrestha has instructed Tribhuvan University (TU) to conduct exams and release results according to a set calendar.

Speaking at a press conference held by TU on Tuesday, Minister Shrestha emphasized the need for a structured annual work plan for the university.

She also urged TU to streamline the process for obtaining equivalence and transcripts.

Furthermore, Minister Shrestha announced the formation of a high-level probe committee to investigate encroachments on TU land.

TU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Keshar Jung Baral, pledged to push forward with the restructuring of the university, aligning with government education policies and TU Vision 2030.

Dr. Baral highlighted plans to establish three campuses as degree-awarding institutions in line with the university’s vision for development.
