Vice President Yadav and UK Ambassador Fenn discuss bilateral cooperation

May 7, Kathmandu: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav and UK Ambassador Rob Fenn held a courtesy meeting on Tuesday at the Vice President’s office in Lainchaur.

According to the Vice President’s secretariat, the focus of the meeting was on enhancing the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Britain, with a special emphasis on areas of mutual interest such as peacekeeping efforts under the United Nations, climate change mitigation, and women’s empowerment.

During the meeting, Vice President Yadav expressed Nepal’s gratitude for the continuous support provided by the United Kingdom in both normal times and during crises.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration between Nepal and the UK in international forums to address global challenges.

Ambassador Fenn reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to furthering cooperation with Nepal and commended Nepal’s contributions to global peace and sustainability.

The duo agreed on the significance of continued partnership in areas that benefit both nations and contribute to global well-being.

Vice President Yadav also extended warm wishes for King Charles’ good health on behalf of Nepal and its citizens.
