DPM Yadav meets UN Secretary-General Guterres

April 30, Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav has emphasized the importance of international cooperation, especially with the United Nations, to sustain Nepal’s health sector achievements.

He highlighted Nepal’s challenges due to climate change and global conflicts, stressing the need for continued support from international partners, according to DPM Yadav’s secretariat.

During a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Yadav reiterated Nepal’s commitment to UN principles and acknowledged its contributions to socio-economic development.

Guterres praised Nepal’s role in peacekeeping missions and its health sector progress, promising ongoing support through UN agencies.
