Suhang Nembang wins by-election in Ilam-2

April 30, Kathmandu: CPN UML candidate Suhang Nembang has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam constituency no 2 after winning the by-election held on April 27.

Nembang got 27,772 votes, while his nearest competitor Dambar Bahadur Khadka from Nepali Congress got 21,942 votes, according to chief returning officer, Keshav Prasad Ghimire.

Similarly, Dakendra Sing Limbu (Thegim) got 11,457 votes and Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Milan Limbu got 5,050.
