Dahal elected Makwanpur chair of CPN (US)

Bagamati: Bishnu Prasad Dahal has been elected chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) in Makwanpur district.

The party’s district meeting held in Hetauda this morning elected a 58-member district committee unopposed under the chairmanship of Bishnu Dahal.

The committee got Kalpana Bishwokarma as vice chair, Dhruba Kumar Bhujel as secretary, and Tanka Prasad Moktan, Kabin Pant and Begam Baral as deputy secretaries.

The party shared that the members of the committee are Sukram KC, Gyanendra Devkota, Ramesh Kumar Rai, BN Sharma, Balram Bal, Raju Adhikari, Gajendra Kangdangwa, Manoj Waiba, Dhan Moktan, Shukra Devi Bal, Saraswati Timsina, Rajani Tiwari, Shanti Priya Banda, among others.

Earlier, the district convention of the party was inaugurated by party Chairperson and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
