Fire destroys wheat crop in Kanchanpur, Kailali

Mahendranagar, April 19: A fire occurred at Dodhara Chandani Municipality in Kanchanpur district on Thursday destroyed the wheat crop grown in seven bigha of land.

Spokesperson of Dodhara Chandani Municipality Om Basnet said that the fallen electric cables on the trees caused the fire in the wheat farm too.

He said the wheat farm of 15 farmers was gutted to cinders.

Likewise, the separate incidents of fire that happened in Joshipur and Bhajani in Kailai district also destroyed the wheat crop, police confirmed.
