CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) withdraw support to Koshi Province government

Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) and the  CPN (Maoist Centre) have withdrawn their support to the Koshi Province government.

The CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Centre) jointly submitted four letters to Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung today, informing him withdrawal of their support to the government.

CPN (UML) parliamentary party leader Hikmat Kumar Karki and CPN (Maoist Centre) parliamentary leader Indra Bahadur Angbo submitted the petition, signed by 52 lawmakers, to Province Chief Khapung.

The four letters, submitted to Province Chief Khapung, mentioned the formation of a new government under the leadership of CPN (UML) Leader Karki, announcing special convention of the province, forming alternative government. Province Chief Khapung said that the special convention of the parliament would take place after a required legal consultation.
