Industrial development essential in Karnali: CM Sharma

Karnali, March 12: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Raj Kumar Sharma, has said industrial development is essential in Karnali.

During a concluding session of the ‘Third Karnali Expo’ that ran for two weeks in Birendranagar, CM Sharma, on Monday, said Karnali’s economic prosperity was impossible unless it witnessed development in the industrial sector.

The expo organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Surkhet would help promote tourism and economic prosperity, he hoped, adding that cooperation among diverse sectors is required for holistic development. “The status of Karnali will be elevated once all sides work together.

Collective thoughts and works are imperative for it,” the CM underlined. According to him, Karnali Province government would forward the construction of huge structures for conducting such exhibition. The expo was visited by more than 50,000 people.
