Ambar Bahadur Bista elected Speaker of Koshi Province

Kathmandu: Ambar Bahadur Bista from the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has been unanimously elected the Speaker of the Koshi Province.

Both the ruling coalition and the main opposition CPN-UML backed the candidacy of Bista for the post of province speaker.

Deputy Speaker Srijan Danuwar announced Bista as the Province Speaker as only the single candidacy of Bista was filed for the post.

Meanwhile, Koshi Province Chief Parashuram Khapung administered the oath to the newly elected Speaker Bista today itself.
